I play queens gambit with white and French with black. Beginners only need learn the basics and a trap or two.

I play queens gambit with white and French with black. Beginners only need learn the basics and a trap or two.
Setup based openings are easiest. The move order is less important, you only need to know the composition you are going for.
For example, the London system.
The is plenty of info you can find on this setup. For black you also have setup based openings you can find.
Keep in mind: This setup can be a guide to help you build a good position in the opening, but it's not going to be the best way to play all the time. Pay attention to what your opponent is doing and respond accordingly. Following opening principles is more important than completing the London setup.
