No brainer for me. I like options, so I chose the diamond membership. Expensive is always a relative term not necessarily to value.
Which membership

If you plan on using video library then diamond. If not and want unlimited puzzles, then platinum. If 25 puzzles per day is enough and you don't want to use video library, then gold.

I started with gold but switched to platinum after a week... You get unlimited puzzles, it really makes the difference.

I've been at platinum for several years now, and it's perfect for me. Unlimited puzzles, 5 lessons per week, as many games and tournaments as you can handle. The only thing missing is the videos, and there are hundreds of them for free on YouTube. I'd go platinum, for sure.

Thanks. What if I repeated a lesson that I had seen before? Would it take another of your 5 lessons off you?
Hi all
I posted on here yesterday for the first time and had some fantastic responses. My free trial has now run out. Obviously at the moment I am really keen and doing lessons and puzzles quite a lot. I'm sure as time goes by,the novelty will wear to a point where i play the odd game. I have quite a busy life and I imagine taking the time to learn in depth will be very time consuming.
With this in mind, I'm not sure how much to spend on a membership. Diamond is very tempting and obviously worth the spend. However, it is quite expensive to jump straight into on a whim after watching the queens gambit
What do new members who are new to chess usually do? Is there an option to upgrade from one membership to another once you have signed up?
Thanks
