White than Black

Well, there are a few things to consider.
First, White has an inherent advantage in every game, and engines recognize this. Engines tend to evaluate white to have a +0.2 or more advantage just by moving first. I remember hearing a stat (don't remember from where or how valid it is) that 52% of all non-draws were won by white in pro play.
Granted, I realize this probably doesn't account for what you're talking about.
White's main advantage is initiative in the beginning of the game. You get to decide what the board is going to look like, and black must react to your threats. White can set more traps, white can in general determine which squares black has access to.
Sometimes Black can counter this with defenses like the Scandinavian, which immediately forces white to either capture and give up initiative, or push and lose structural integrity. I highly recommend looking into this opening for black, as it is my least favorite opening to play against as white, as it takes the steam out of my plans for white.
Also, Attacking is fundamentally easier than defending in chess, which is often easier as white, and harder as black. Always look for checks, captures, and attacks that improve your position, and put your opponent responding to your threats, not the other way around.
