Why do I suck so much

Based on your most recent games, you seem to have this issue of not using your time to check if any of your or the opponent's pieces are hanging. This is a fatal error a lot of beginners are doing. Because of this, you often end games with plenty of minutes to spare which could've been used to prevent even the simple one move blunders. Just take your time to look around the board and check if all your pieces are safe or not or if you can take anything for free and I guarantee you, you will reach 1200 rating very soon.

play longer time controls or play with incraments like 5+5 15+10
use that extra time to really study the board what effect will my next move have, what will change on the board, will i hang a piece, what are my opponents main threats and does my next move help him achieve his goal
also; check out chessable.com the have really good free courses for beginner, honestly helped me gain about 200-400 elo
this is a play list on youtube Daniel Naroditski https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLT1F2nOxLHOcmi_qi1BbY6axf5xLFEcit highly reccommend this speed run and chessable.com

I'm in the same boat. I studied, played many bots and even beat some at 1200 ratings. But as of lately I have been hitting a wall of bad luck. I know I make mistakes and scream at myself when I Blunder. Like today. Unintentionally gave up material, like my Queen. And the person I played at a lower rating missed or was playing cat and mouse with me. Bam! I had to resign.
But, you know what? It happens. No ones perfect. So just keep practicing. You'll get there. I know I will.

These are some pretty good tips thx. I've been trying to teach a couple of my pals and I will definitely pass some of these along

You should get some chess books and spend more time studying the fundamentals. Two books that helped me are My System by Nimzowitch and Lasker's manual. Also it might help to get a coach or talk and play with stronger players. I like this method for starting players:
Rules of play/exercises - 5 hrs
Elementary endings - 5 hrs
Some openings - 10 hrs
Combination - 20 hrs
Position Play - 40 hrs
Play and Analysis - 120 hrs.

How can we find a reliable, quality instructor? A great player does not necessarily translate to a quality instructor. So how do we find a high quality chess teacher?
