I don't know if some awesome people have multiple log in, because i noticed while i sock that many resign after a few of (my monster moves) moves, are they trying to help me raise my score? but thank you

Who knows.   I looked at your last 3 completed wins and saw 1 guy who quit after like 5 moves ... life happens, maybe his wife needed him to go clean out the garage or something.  I saw one where you had a rook and a win in a few moves at endgame.  I saw one where the other guy threw a piece away and quit in disgust (this guy should have probably played on: beginner on beginner both sides hang pieces usually and no sense in quitting after the first one).  At higher levels a lot of players will quit after losing a piece with no good counterplay for the loss: they respect that their opponent can probably win a piece up, and that is true at some point.

Anyway, take your win and move on.  It happens, and unless they say something, no way to really know why.

Thank you jonnin, and everybody,

Still doesn't make sense for the people who suddenly can't continue the game.

For example few days ago had to leave, explained the opponent and asked if would accept the draw. and he did, that very sportsmanship, and i did same a few times for them. After all is better a draw then resigning. Nothing to loose.

I'm a novice of chess and consider myself not too bad at the beginning and toward middle game playing defense always, but the ending game stage i really really suck happy.png

so if somebody asks a draw in that period i gladly accept happy.png

thank you again

I'm beginner too. I resign always, when I'm clearly losing and I can't see any way to handle the party. I thought that was sportsmanship, by accepting the loss and respecting my opponents time. I never thought it was not freindly. I almost never played chess offline. So thanks for the insight.

sometime like me they may have some things to do.but if you really slip up and say lose your queen there really is no point in going on .

Sometimes you get back, and quite a bit & it is really annoying when you blunder later on when ur opponent plays really bad but wins because of your blunder.
