Why my analysis for my next move is different from chess engine's analysis?

When I think carefully what I should do next, which move I should play next, and devise a strategy against my opponent in the middle or end game then my chess engine tells me something very different. I cannot understand why it wants me to play something else, something it gives higher points to.
I have a shaky confidence every time I make a move contemplated on my own because I now know that chess engine will have a better and completely different approach to my opponent!

You're a 1400 speed chess player. Engines are over 3600. Of course moves you find will be different from what an engine finds. Why are you letting it shake your confidence? You're playing people, not engines.
