haha Ivan, to true my friend!
Your most embarrassing losses

I had over 130 at some point but decided enough was enough. As you can see from my daily rating graph my quality of play has been going down the drain.
First I draw an 1100 after blundering a winning position into a losing one, and only by cheesing him was I able to draw.
Next I lose against a few 1100s and straight up drop a piece against an 800
Like I am so done sometimes

Yeah, It's hard to bullet your way through them and try to pretend you're a really strong player when the other people are tryharding.
which is what I was doing

I played in the US Open in Chicago in 1973. There were 778 players.
After 6 rounds I had 5 1/2 out of 6 having beat some strong players including a GM. But I was totally exhausted as I lived in Kankakee Illinois and was working full time and had to drive back and forth from Kankakee to Chicago and back. It was a 12 round tournament and I was going to withdraw.
My friends learned I was withdrawing and decided to drive me to Chicago for my 7th game--but I was still exhausted. The game was up on the stage above all the other players. My opponent was Lawrence Day a master from Canada. He was staying at the tournament hotel and was able to view my games.
I had Black and he played the Ruy Lopez and I played a speculative line which had won me some games before in various tournaments. But I knew it had one flaw and I had not had time to change my opening systems.
So I played the line and Lawrence Day was ready! He had found the flaw in the opening! He beat me rather badly! In front of all the 700 plus players.
Now Lawrence Day and I are still in touch and he is one of my friends,
There are none! you learn and get better and put a smile on your face
