I think that naming the baby 'Grandmaster' would certainly ensure a lifetime of respect and success. There were several characters in X-Men with names from Chess, whether by coincidence or intentionally (Gambit, Bishop, Armageddon). Also, 'Tabia'/'Tabiya' and 'Kid' might be options. The latter as 'kid' means child, but also 'King's Indian Defence'.

I found out I’ll be a father again!! I was recently trying to think of baby names for boy and girl since am not sure what my child will be yet. I thought it be fun to see what names I could come up with that’s inspired by chess. Maybe something that’s in another language that is a chess piece that sounds like a good name. Maybe even some kind of chess terms, moves, great players past to present ect.
Thought this might be fun for chess fans and parents alike to see what people might come up with.
