Well, technically you have a white square on bottom right, so depends on how you look at it. But yes, A1 is a black square.
But I think it'd be hilarious to have a souvenir photo of a friend and myself playing chess on a rollercoaster.

(Incidentally, I can't believe it actually took me a while to figure out that the knight can't reach the centre square. Though I wonder why a white piece and a black piece are working together anyway.)
