Also it's been quite a time since I made a post so enjoy 👀
Bullet Chess Tips: Flagging

Going to talk about this - way too much filler text.
The only real tip you give is to check your opponent and "complicate the position" in certain positions. These are way too vague to be helpful to anyone who doesn't know what you're talking about.
Give examples.
"Dirty chess tricks" - and then you tell the reader to go look it up on youtube. ... what??? ok, then... why would I read your stuff if I can just go to youtube? You could at least list some stuff they say.
Your otb flagging part is basically repeating everything you've already said. It doesn't help much.

Alright, I wanted to do examples but I was too lazy. I kinda rushed it.

Lol
Alright I'll just put this in the "Fun with chess" because flagging is quite enjoyable.
Anyways, if you are looking to add to your fast chess skills, well... hi 👀
ONLINE FLAGGING
flagging online is quite easy, as long as your are using a mouse or trackpad. If you don't have one, some are like 5 dollars so get yourself one 👀
After you have chosen your favourite mouse, you must practice with it, like playing puzzle rush. That way you can get used to your mouse.
Now when it comes to actual flagging, the best tip is to stay calm.
That I struggle with.
But you have to stay calm, you can't just play random moves, unless your really low on time. For example, 10 second chess is the most craziest chess I've ever played, and it mainly involves checking the person so they'd have to spend more time getting out of the check, or making dirty tricks.
If your opponent has less than 10 seconds, look for checks.
If your opponent has less than 20 seconds, complicate the position. This will make them think more, and it would increase the possibility of them blundering into a losing position.
Thats basically the basics, once you master that, we move on to dirty tricks.
Basically, stuff like Rosen Traps and other very "troll" moves.
This will be essential info when your opponent is low on time but your position is horrible.
You can search up "dirty chess tricks" on youtube to have access.
Also it's really fun to watch 👀
Anyways, just follow those and you'll be fine, one last thing is to always think ahead.
If your opponent has a queen, and you have a rook and some pawns, it would be most likely that the opponent would try to check you, so you would lose on time. So, try to prevent that.
That idea has saved me countless times.
Anyways on to OTB FLAGGING
This is way harder. Usually OTB tournaments have increment, to allow better games to be played. In the result of 15sec+ increments, play as solid moves as you can to give yourself more time to think.
However, there are time controls like 3 + 2 where the increment is very small.
In this case you should make as many safe checks as possible.
It's like online flagging, but even dirtier.
Having long-ranged pieces like queens, rooks, and sometimes bishops is very helpful. This way it increases the chance they forget to move out of the check, and you can call the arbiter to add 2 more minutes to your time (quite evil) or they touch a different piece and they'd have to block it with that piece.
Anyways, that's all my ideas, but the best idea is to make sure you don't get into time trouble.
that's it.
