One day, he meets a mysterious old chess player in a park, with whom he will establish a relationship through their common passion for chess.
As it turns out, the Mysterious Chess Player, is a Jewish Holocaust survivor.
Through the transmission of knowledge between the old man and Leonard, the young boy will learn a very important lesson, that will enable him to stand up to his father and maybe teach him a lesson?
