Alekhines defense?! thats not you.. :P and yes, the opening was a bit weird..,  i say by move 4 white had a beautiful strong center and he ruined it by not attacking any of your knights, from my point of view fachiattoing (w/e you call it) your bishop on the kingside was a mistake, because white could have took control of the center, but other then that nicely done.

After 4...g6 your opponent could have played e5, then your knight would then go to g4, and then white plays d4, strengthening the center. I believe your opponent missed that :P

fianchettoing wasn't a mistake in my oppinion, i wanted to get my bishop in there somehow and i could get it out from the c8-a3 diagnal (at least not anywhere that would have been good). i do agree though in the opening i played a little odd, wanted to try new things different than normal booklines.

fianchettoing is not necessairly a mistake, but not on book lines

it's in booklines, just not as a often used move :)
