The dude has a brandy glass but the girl looks to be drinking out of a sherry glass or something. Other than that, I can't tell what they're drinking. It should be alcohol though. After all, beautiful women who play chess are a bit of a rarity, and should be cause for a celebration surely...

There are brandies in bottles with that shape, but the color in the woman's glass and in the bottle, plus the shape of the bottle, reminds me of my first foray into wine elitism--shelling out $4.75 for a bottle of Mateus when I was 19 years old.
