MATE IN 100 MOVES!

It's ordinary to see chess puzzles which could be solved in 2, 3, 4, ... nth move. This one, buddies, is uncommon, one of a kind to appear over the board during endgame, not scripted, requires an opponent to be stubborn , and... it's MATE IN 100th MOVE. (See GeronimoGeronimo vs. how4now)

i admit, teohyuanhut. i'm just lazy to shoot a mating move as early it should be.

amorvincitomnia

hmmm,,, funny!

Sojkicz

It's very bad of you to play like this with someone rated 900 point below you... Yet I have to admit it looks funny. And another thing - it's very impolite to show games with name of your opponent if he doesn't allow it, even more when he loses like this ;o)

Next black move should be Nd c1. Stalemate! You will be a happy man!

i must stand up 4 how4now as i know that geronimogeronimo wanted to go for an all time move record and how4now was willing to go along with it and by the way geronimo how4now does not have to write a blog about the game if he does not want to, as you requested him to. players at his level have little to lose maybe 1 point he has more to gain as his average opponent goes up and yours goes down. if you like to show off try it on someone the same as yourself not on the obviously inexperienced unless you are going to share some useful chess advice.

how4now

and i thought we where friends hmm

GeronimoGeronimo

We are friends how4now. I told you to post it JUST FOR FUN, and if you don't I will. You didn't say no. (Please check the messages). Sorry to cut short to 100th move, it was because I almost lose run out of time for at least 2 times due to some games which needed more concentration,,, but I think we got the longest game record. Losing on time in a winning game isn't  good.

I was thinking of a last-move stalemate but such will end up more negative than positive comments anyway.

To all, I know I'll be misunderstood, sorry about it!

sebas4life

that's what happens to my opponents if they refuse to resign a lost positionCool

TheSlayer

A classy player who won't refuse a challenge from a low-rated opponent is already an opportunity to learn without giving advice. how4now, who should gentlemanly resigned after the 19th move, must be happy to find an opponent who patiently prolonged the game to 100th move because HE LEARNED SOMETHING!

I will do the same, and put it in the blog without perission once I encountered an opponent who'll refuse to resign in an absolute hopeless position.
