Most unusual or funny positions!

I'm glad you liked it! I did make the final knight move to make the four out of purely aesthetic reasons to be honest, it was just too funny and unusual to resist! xD
Would love to see other peoples strange positions!

I had a recent game where we both ended up building an impenetrable pawn wall across the middle of the board. I thought it was rather funny. Neither of us wanted to be the first to give up a piece to break through.

Hah, that is a novel position. Super closed. Must be 20-30 moves in without a single capture. How did the game proceed? Its quite the arduous task of manoveruing your peices till they are poised for a breakthrough. Must have been a funny game to play

That reminds me of a game I played a while ago. It starts with a blunder, but the mate at the end is kind of amusing.

I found that mate quite amusing, I imagine your opponent was like "HAHAHA IM UP A QUEEN" before yelling "BLIMEY GOVENER, A MATE IN ONE! BAH! CHESS IS FOR LOSERS ANYWAY" xD
I liked xmaz's games also. Obviously not perfect play, but the mate where the king was completely trapped behind doubled pawns was funny. Isn't the Bxf7+ completely sound? If you had of played Qxg5 on the 10th move you'd have been a pawn up with his king severly disadvantaged.
This is a thread for unusual or funny positions taken from your own games! I have two that I will share with you to get the ball rolling, one just aesthetically really quite something - bishops on similar diagonals and knights occupying all the central squares! The other is just a winning endgame where my opponent was amusingly locked in.
