I just stared playing and I love this game

I have to learn more but I will get better

I play with others on a real bord but this is fun

because I can play with alot more nice people all around the world

and if you have tips on the game I would love to know them

Rule 1: Don't give away material for nothing! On the converse, take your opponent's pieces if they foolishly let you.

If pawns are worth 1, then bishops and knights are worth approximately 3; rooks, 5; queens, 9. Don't let your opponent, for example, take your queen for a bishop. Always check to see if they can capture your pieces before making your move.

For a beginner, that's enough to start you off; when you can consistently move without leaving pieces in a place where the opponent can take them for nothing, then start learning basic tactics like forks, skewers, etc.

When you play online chess make sure to check on your game from time to time - I see you have 100% timeouts.
