No. Hint: XIII shares surname with most famous family of Viennese musicians in the 19th century.

I figured this out then realized somebody had already posted!

I don't think Will Smith plays chess, so he must be the odd one out

goldendog

Will Smith at chess pic appears in Greatest Chess Photos thread so odd man can't be him.

OK, I don't mean to stir things up or anything...but are we absolutely sure that the Bingster never played chess? I mean, how exactly would you find this out...or tell...come to think of it?  He must've said in some interview:  "Good grief, I hate chess, and have never even gone near a board ever in my life."

In "The Even More Complete Chess Addict", by Mike Fox and Richard James, there is a section entitled 'The Famous'. Here is an excerpt:

"Bing Crosby didn't<footnote 2> ('I have worries enough already', he said in one of his films), but Sinatra does, occasionally.

<footnote 2> One of the authors asked him, on Turnberry Golf Course."

They are referring to the ability to play chess, of course.
