What were the time controls on this?
Nice piece of work, breaking through his weak attack for mate.
Nice game.
After 18. ... Kg8, Crafty says you win overwhelming material by 19. Rxf7 with the immediate threat of Bc4.
19. ... Kxf7 leads to a pretty easy to see mate in 6.
All the variations I looked at were fatal, with black forestalling mate by dropping material in staggering quantities.
-=-=-=-
Crafty had you winning decisive material all the way back at turn 9. Black took a poisoned pawn with 8. ... Qxb2. Basically, you win the a8 rook. However, retaking with your K allowed his Q to gain a tempo and extricate his R.
13. ... Qxf2 is probably fatal. Black could stay in the game by Rb8.
14. ... Rb8 is an error. Due to your excellent d pawn, the situation on e7 is critical. After that, black starts feeding material into the machine to remain un-mated.
For example, After 15. Rf1, Crafty recommends Qxf1. Pretty desperate. After 15. ... Qxg2, Crafty agrees with the game up until 18. Bc4 where Crafty recommends Rxf7. Both are terminal, the latter is a little faster.
Impressive dismantling.
Heres a game where I checkmated with 20 moves, I think in terms of attack its one of my better games.
