some very instructive exchanges from moves 9-11.
after move 12 an observer suddenly realizes that it is black, not white on the offensive - the open g and c files become an attacker's dream.
16...Kf8! was the key moment. I'm guessing by your comment about it preparing to double rooks you meant that you were going to follow with Kg7, then Kh8. This idea "seems" too time consuming but in fact it is accurate: black mustn't waste time on the other board either trying to eat up useless pawns!
I loved 18..Qxf3 You must have really loved playing that move over the board.
In the end, you pretty much just showed why you're rated 2400 and he's not.
p.s. Are you a national/ fide master? That rating is pretty impressive =P

Wow. I have to say that luckily, I haven't looked at your offline rating next to these games, or I may not have posted my analysis in your other forum topics:) Luckily, because I double checked it and it seems ok...
So, as to this game, I'm not familiar with this variation, so I'm wondering, doesn't 9.Ne5 ensure white has a big advantage? to me, it seems there's only one way to deal with the double threat:
9...dxc4 10.Nxc6 Bxc3+ 11.bxc3 Qd7 12.Bxf6 gxf6 13.Bxc4 bxc6. Seems like a one way street to this position, and white seems to be much better.
Black can't play 9...Bxc3+ because after 10.bxc3 he no longer has time for 10...dxc4 because of the g4 threat. But if 10...Bf5 11.Nxc6 Qd7 12.Bxf6 gxf6 13.cxd5 and this seems horrible for black.
I was wondering if there's a known continuation in theory here?.
I'm currently analyzing 11...Bxf3. May be much better than gxf6. Not sure yet.
15.Rab1 seems more consistent to me. I think white is much better there. Don't like 15.c4
Black quickly takes control of the game after that.
