i need one move suggestion... after a player is one up wrt powers... what should his strategy be...??? belived that he should immediatly start exchanging equal powers with his opponent.. wht u all experts say???

kco

instead of 27...Rxd5 you could have...cxd5 you got yourself a possilble passed pawn

the problem start when you move 29...b5 breaking up your kingside and 33...Rfd8 smothering your own king in.

kco

yes I agree with hotflow here, also 19.Rd7 your b-pawn is under attack, also instead of 22...Bg6 better was ...Rde8 is what hotflow talking about.

yes... i know that 29...b5 was a suicide which i realised latter... thanks for your comments but my one question still remains... after a player is one power up from his opponent what is the best strategy to folllow???

kco

do you mean if you are a piece up ?, then you would be better to start trading pieces off. So at the end you will be left with one piece up.

26. Rfe1 looks better to me.  You trade off at least one set of rooks which makes life easier for you, being up in material.
