Analyze both sides of finished game

I’m looking to analyze my finished game, making moves on both sides of the board. I can do that now but I would also like for the computer to show me the best move on both sides of the board.

I can finish the game with the computer but it only gives me the best moves for the side I’m playing and makes moves automatically for the other side. But I want to try different scenarios for both sides and have the computer tell me the best move for each side.

Thanks

Okay. Let me elaborate on what I’d like. After a game you can do a self analysis and make the moves on both sides. The computer will give you a score so you know how good or bad a move is. You can use that score to figure out the best move(s), but sometimes I can never find what the computer thinks is the best move. For that reason I’d prefer an option where the computer tells me the best move in the self analysis after the game.

I don’t have a paid account but I’m wondering if something like that is available.

I’m using the iOS app.

Thanks

The free Stockfish app will work for you. Its “continuous analysis” mode basically shows you the best move on whichever side’s turn.

Do I have to manually input the finished game or is there some way to do it quickly. I’m new at this.

After a finished game, Chess.com places your game in a reserve "Archive". You can find and download your completed games there (as well as other players' games, it's not just limited to your games).

You can copy the "PGN" of the game and paste this PGN in some analysis thing.

Take for example, I post this random game (except that I have input the individual entries manually).

Do you see an icon somewhere on the bottom left of the diagram above which looks like a mini board with a magnifying glass? You can click on it. A new page will appear and you can make your own analysis there using the Stockfish program on Chess.com. To make the above position, I can input entries manually or paste the PGN. To start posting the above position, there is a chessboard icon on the left most of the available tools for this chat box (only if you are on the website, not the app, I doubt the app has this feature).
