Probably a stupid question, but they're often the ones to ask. When I analyse a game using an engine (scidlet & toga II) I see symbols in the annotation such as "?! =+ D". I understand the "?! =+" part, but what does the "D" mean?
Thanks a lot. It all makes sense if I export the game to html. I'd checked out the PGN standard but hadn't realised that Scid had added to it for its own use. Given the number of "D"s my best guess had been that it stood for "Dummy".
I didn't know what it meant either. From looking at some other PGN and NAG values, that value (#201) along with a number of other values are set aside for future growth.
