Nicely played
Beat a 1400...twice?!?!

His play in the second game made no sense. Like moving the pawn to h4, and sacrificing the queen had to be a mouse slip.

you just played nice, thats why you beated him im sure you are a 1400 yourself..
the first game you had the luck he moved his king in front of the queen though :p

I think he isn't very good at tactics. A skewer to win in the first game, and a fork to win in the second. Anyways, if it you want them, here are the echess links to the games.

Im currently 1306 thanks to those wins, but I've beat a 1335 twice due to timeouts. I think these are my first wins over a 1400+ not because of timeouts.
Good playing. Here's my analysis:
Game 1: 9. Nc3; Not a bad move, but I would have played 9. Qh5+! You do this as move 10, but making the move later gives black a chance to see it and prevent it (black didn't see it in your game, however :D)
Game 2: 7... Nd4; This allows black to take your pawn on e5.
Other than that, you played great. Keep it up. :D
In a team match, I was matched with someone much higher rated than me. I don't know how I could have won both games, but here they are:
And here is the other one:Please feel free to post analysis, and hope you enjoy the games!
