Beginner question, how to deal with the early bishop queen checkmate?

Sorry if this sounds like a silly question, but how do you deal with the queen and bishop early checkmate?

It has happened to me at least 5 times. I tend to panic when i see these pieces move very early and have no clue what to do.
Example below.

you just need to be careful, with making sure your e5 pawn is guarded and that the bishop queen mate is blocked off.

Oh I see. So when they move the queen all the way, we move a pawn to back it off?

I also did a video on this too @davidkimchi xD you just keep asking about things I've written blogs on or made videos for lol

It's all right, that is actually a good thing because it means they are useful resources which can help in learning and are practical for the improving/learning player happy.png

If your e-Pawn is guarded, yes.
