Four years later... no coach Danny in my pocket!
Coach mode on App
It's not uncommon for certain features to be available on a website but not on a mobile app. However, there is a way to access those features on your mobile device by adding the website to your Home Screen.
For example, if you want to access the full range of features available on Chess.com's website on your mobile device, you can add the website to your Home Screen. Once you do that, you'll be able to access Chess.com's website just like you would with any other app on your phone or tablet. This means that you'll be able to use all the features available on the website, even if they are not currently available on the mobile app.
To add Chess.com's website to your Home Screen on an iPhone, follow these steps:
1. Open Safari and navigate to Chess.com's website.
2. Tap the Share icon (the square with an upward arrow) at the bottom of the screen.
3. Scroll down and tap "Add to Home Screen".
4. Enter a name for the website, then tap "Add" in the upper-right corner.
To add Chess.com's website to your Home Screen on an Android device using Google Chrome, follow these steps:
1. Open Google Chrome and navigate to Chess.com's website.
2. Tap the three-dot menu icon in the top-right corner of the screen.
3. Tap "Add to Home Screen" from the menu.
4. Enter a name for the shortcut (this will be displayed as the app name on the Home Screen) and tap "Add".
That's it! Once you add Chess.com's website to your Home Screen, you'll be able to access all the features available on the website, even if they are not currently available on the mobile app.
Hope this helps!
Hi there, i've been using chess.com through PC and through the Android app, i found out that the coach mode is extremely useful to me as a beginner but i don't see the option to use it on the Android app. Am i missing something obvious or the coach mode that says if your move was good or bad and shows you the best move is only available on the web version?
Thanks!
