computer analysis score.

When the computer scores the moves is it better to have a negative or positive score? sorry if this is a stupid question i just would like to clearify.

Actually it depends what program you are using.

Sometimes a positive score means it's better for white (I prefer this, the score stays the about the same no matter who has the move), sometimes it means it's better for the side whose move it is, the score changes from positive to negitve after every move.
