i must agree, the game was played poorly for an 1800+, but the chess.com rating is a bit at flux, and stuff like that can happen...
Crazy! This is crazy!

just remember, if a 1700 plays a 1700 and one baarely wins... (his) rating will jump by at least 50 points, if not more. Since he barely won, he decides to play another 1700 and now you talking 1800 rated player. So the rating is clearly inflated. I thought u played well to be honest, although your opponent did as well until the last two moves.
This cannot be happening! I have won my last 6 games, and those who know me are aware that I don't play weak opponents. OK, one of the 6 was an exception because we were paired like that in a match, but still it's hard to believe this is happening! I am now rated my highest ever, and so far out of my realistic playing strength that if I didn't know better, I'd accuse myself of cheating. I'm mean, 1700 I am, since I have no trouble beating 1600's with either color. But my current rating is ridiculous! Take a look:
