Fool's mate is 1.f3 e5 2.g4 Qh4# and is the shortest possible mate at 2 moves.

 Your game is scholar's mate.

No offense, but I can't believe you fell for that.  At least now you know to watch out for that in the future.  Anyways, I agree with Quixotical, it's a Scholar's Mate.  It's known more simply as the Four-Move Checkmate, but Scholar's Mate is the official name.

Yes, its the scholars mate, though I'm more surprised that your opponent attemped it than that you fell for it. Its supposed to be a bad opening if your opponent doesn't fall for it. Unrelated, here is a four-move variation of the Fool's Mate which I once played (my opponent was the victim, not me)

What program does everybody use to make PGNs?

No Offense taken.  I was practically still reading up on the rule of the game, and which object can make what kind of move.

I'll get the hang of it, and will give you a try in a few weeks.

Not only did I fall for the trap, I did it twice.

No problem, we have all been the victim of a silly mate at one time or another. The important thing is to keep studying and practicing so that you no longer make these kinds of mistakes.
