The same day as the above game I played 2 other games.
The below game was the Smith-Morra Gambit
Thanks. It would be nice to see the Lolli Attack in this thread. I am still unsure if that is considered better than the Fried Liver.
@Chicken Monster
Actually the Lolli Attack is considered stronger than the Fried Liver for sure!
Can I ask what is the Lolli? When is it appropriate to use that? Im much lower rated but The Lolli sounds pretty devestating.........
When ever I hear the name Lolli it reminds me of a rap song I use to like long ago!

Well anyway to answer your question Wonderwomen2004 the Lolli Attack happens at move 6!
In my first post I played 6.Nxf7 which is the Fried Liver Attack.
By playing the move 6.d4 you open up the board + you keep your knight on g5.
Keeping the knight helps you make a even more crushing attack!
That is the Fried Liver.....Right? No difference i can tell from this.
The below position only is the Fried Liver Attack:
The Fried Liver Attack starts at move 6 with 6.Nxf7.
The below position only is the Lolli Attack:
The Lolli Attack starts at move 6 with 6.d4.
Can you see the difference now?
In the first diagram (Fried Liver Attack) the black king can capture the knight going up 1 full piece.
White will than try to fight his way back to either checkmate black or regain the lost piece!
In the second diagram (Lolli Attack) white hasn't lost any piece and is starting to blast open the center.
It seems funny.
The little pawn move d4 is what scares high level players!
The little d4 pawn looks so innocent?
Surely there is nothing to fear?
Wrong!!! High level players are extremely afraid!!!
It is cute when you think about it.
Low level players are afraid of Nxf7.
Low level players are not afraid of d4.
In the higher levels it is reverse!
High level players are not afraid of Nxf7.
High level players are afraid of d4.
I woke up today feeling aggressive!
I played all the gambit & attacking lines I knew!
I felt like attacking.
I wasn't going to respond to my opponents threats!
I was going to make threats & counter threats of my own!
I went into the chess game with this mindset.
I had the chance to play my beloved Ruy Lopez.
However, I didn't!
I went for the gusto.
I went right for the throat!
After it was all said and done a brillance transpired!
