White looks quite a bit better after move 10.
You played pretty well, but you shouldn't be so keen to just trade off your pieces like that.

At move 12 Black missed Bxg4! which wins instantly. If Qe3, then d4 forking the Queen and dark Bishop. Incidentally, on Blacks 13th move, after d4, he could have played Bxg4 and won as well and the Qg2 was done to prevent that.
As even more of a newbie, I appreciate it all the more, so now I can get an idea of why you made the moves you did. Thanks so much!
going back to the first game, can you explain to me what the trap was that your queen could have found herself in? it's 26. ...Qc3+ i think
Nice enthusiasm. It's good to post your analyses because you can learn through others' corrections and others can learn from the post.
Hi everyone!
I have been looking for articles or forum posts that helps the <1400's but there is quite few! And if there's several, it rarely includes ful analysis of chess games, so I decided to open this topic and post my own games, explaining every single move. NOTE: I'm only ~1450 so this topic is only suitable for about 1000-1400's. Here comes the first game, will post more, enjoy.
