Well, I think unorthodoxy is just what happens when the players are novice. Glad you enjoyed the odd mate, though.

Hey again, PanaPawn.  Like your contributions on this site.

You developed your pieces a bit better than he did at the beginning.  Your move 7...b6 strikes my curiousity.  I would suggest 7...g6 in that position, to fianchetto the King Bishop and castle Kingside.  In a few moves, with your lead in development, you'll be able to attack in force.

Also, 17...f6! might have really made you happy.  It makes me happy, and I'm not even the one playing the game.  White can't move his Bishop, so he loses it.  Ah, I now see that was already mentioned.

You seem to have the makings to be a great chess player...using pieces and combinations to attack, showing curiosity with the basic fundamentals, and making plenty of mistakes!  World Championship material!
