Hello all chess players! I will do Analysis for all 1400 rated and below players. I will create a program for the first person to post a game here for Analysis. This is for FREE! The second person I will tell them where they need to improve. Here is all you have to do.

1. Be rated 1400 and below

2.Post a game here*

3.Enjoy!

*Standrad/online chess is the best game to post here. Pls tell me the time limit of the game. 10 minute blitz are good as well. And it is better if you lost the game. Why? Because then I can find your weaknesses and not your opponents! also if you lost it will be easier to find what you have to improve. Thanks and enjoy!

Move 2 for both players was not as good as the normal lines. Instead of 2.Nf3 white should have played d4. This means you have to learn opening theory. Nf3 is playable but d4 is better. Move five for white 0-0 is inacurite. (sorry for spelling)White should have played exd5 followed by d4. You also need to learn pawn structure and ideas in middle games. I am going to say YOUR mistakes.Move 8.be3 for white is also inacurite. Better is exd5. 9.Ng5?! is also inacurite. after h6 and dxe4 for black white is in a jam. Move 10.Nxh7?? this is a sac for NO compinsation. That is bad. Only sac when you have compinsation.Move 17.Qf6 is a mistake. Do not trade when down material. There are exceptions but for all 1400 down players I recamend not to. At move 20 to move 25 white plays passivly. He does not try to improve his position but dables in bad moves.Again move 27. Bxe7? white trades when he is down. and finally move 28. hxg4?? lets mate on h1. Here is what you have to improve.

1. Tactics

2.opening theory

3.pawn structure

4.middle game plans

5.strategy

The study plan will be sent to you soon. Also I can put the analysis in a game to make it easier to follow. I will do that later when I am less busy. Thanks skichess123!! Have a great day everyone!

The comment about 2.Nf3 ... versus 2.d4 ... is too specific to be helpful; in reality 2.Nf3 ... works to get the opening into something specific such as a Sicilian or a French exchanged. In the opening I would say it simpler: if the opponent gives you the center, take it! Because of it move 3 should have been 3.d4 ... and so on.

Middle game: I would emphasis attacking with one piece only (such as 9.Ng5 ...) is not recommended. The white pieces are not placed in good positions to start an attack on black's position. See how white struggles to reposition its pieces during moves 11-14, after it has sacrificed a piece for nothing. It should be the other way around: position pieces for attack and then attack, preferably the weak spots in the opponent's position.

I think this player needs help understanding and practicing how to play with a purpose: develop with purpose, take control of the center (if you can), choose a target, prepare an attack and then attack.

Thanks Mister CM! I understand and know all of that but was in a rush to leave and could not say it. Thanks for saying it for me!

DMGame

I am giving him a study plan and I was going to explain that in his plan. That was the strategy and middlegame plans that I said he needed to improve. I thank you for sharing your thoughts.

DMGame

Also I have seen many 1000< players play Nf3 and lose horribly so I am trying to give him a main line.

DMGame

They have to know the plans which comes from the opening theory.

skichess123

Thanks!

EugenD

It is my pleasure! Smile

DoctorStrange

How do you analyze them? Do you analyze them from a software?

DrFrank124c
DoctorStrange

Do you analyze them with a chess program?

DMGame

The analysis is my own. Chess programs are good but they don't tell you how to improve :)

Dear DrFrank124,

I am very busy at the moment but I will have analysis up in hopfully less then 2 hours. Thanks for the game and the support! Be back soon!

Here is the analysis. Move 3.Bd6?! This is not good for a very good reason. After Bd6 we see Bxd6! and black is stuck with a bad bishop on c8. This is like the french bishop. When you play e6 before the development of the c8 bishop you should try to NOT exchange your dark squared bishop because it is your strong bishop. If you go to move 8 you will see that he has a bad f4 bishop and you have a bad c8 bishop. Your bishop is worse. If you could remove the c8 and f4 bishops you would stand better. Notice that is you look over the moves your white squared bishop does one thing for a few moves in a 42 move game. This shows that you need to learn how to use minor pieces better. Move 15 hxg6? Yes there is a rule capture toward the center with pawns. Notice that in this case it opens files toward your king. NEVER open files toward your king. Move 19 you do somthin similar. You play exd5? Better is cxd5 with the idea to attack down the c file. also exd5 opens the e file to your disadvantage. I think move 22.Nxh6 is not the best. It puts you on the defence and Gives your opponent a strong h pawn. I cannot remeber if f5 allows enpessant. if it does it loses right away. If not we see Bg5! and white will trade his d squared bishop and have a f6 pawn. here is how. 25. Bg5! Qc7 26.Bf6! Be7 27. h7! Bxf6 28.exf6 and Qg5. Rh8?? allows Bg5!! and Bf6. After the rook moves white queens and will win back material and then win. After Kf7 white can still play Bg5!! and Bf6. instead of move 27.Be6? you can play Bf8!! and then Bg7 trying to stop whites Bg5 and Bf6 threat. Move 28 Kg7?? gives white Bg5!! and Bf6!! winning the rook on h8. Then white will play Bf6 again and then h8=Q. Move 34. Kg8?? gives Qxg6 as you saw. The last moves you played are passive and gave white a winning attack. Now as promised... You have to work on:

1.Tactics

2.Weak squares and weak colours

3.Minor piece play

If you improve those you could be a 1500-1600 standard player. Please tell me what you thought of the analysis and let me know if you would lie me to put the analysis in game form. I try to cover everthing to give you a good idea of what you have to improve. Sorry if it is to long for you.

And once again Thanks for the support! Have a great day everyone!

How about this:

I was white. I won. It was at a local OTB tournement. Could you show me my flaws please?

For the DrFrank124c game, I think castling kingside looks extremely risky as white castled queenside and has a pawn on e5 which prevents him from having a knight on f6. Playing g6 makes things worse because the dark squares around the king are further weakened and gave white a hook which makes h4 even more effective. Castling is important, but shouldn't be done without giving it some thought.

Good! I see you know opening theory. I personally do not like the wiener variation in the french defence(I think thats how it is spelled) I like the tarrasch variation but everyone has their view. If you have not watched videos on the wiener then do so. There is one line that is worth knowing. Nxf6 doesn't llok right. I understand your choice but keep this in mind. After move 5.Bg5 Be7 white can even play move 6. Nxf6. If 6.Bxf6 then 7.Bxf6! and if gxf6 then Bh6! White doesn't retreat the bishop. In most french lines white tries to trade thier dark bishop for blacks strong bishop(thier dark bishop) leaving them with a good bishop on f1 versus the bad bishop on c8. Then a simple plan would be trade the queens and the knights and come to a endgame where you have a good bishop against a bad bishop. Watch GM meliks videos on restricting pieces and GM bojkovs videos on empty bishops. You can find these in the intermediate study plan strategy section 4. I am only telling you YOUR mistakes and ideas. There is no use in telling you where your opponent needs to improve. You say you dont mind isolated pawns. I believe IM daniel rensch has some good videos on isolated queen pawns that you would like. I like move 10.Re1! It is a natural move that has no obvious draw back. The annotions are nice becasue I can see what you were thinking. Move 15.Bh6 is okay. The plan is good but there are better ways to get the c1 bishop to e5. Move 15. Bg5 is tricky with the idea Bxh7! For example Move 15. for black could be b6 trying to play Bb7. Then we see 16.Bxh7! Qxd1 17.Rxd1 and then if Rxh7? White plays Rd8# and if on move 15 plays Bd7 instead we see Bf6 and then Be5. This is better because it is vicous but there is one better move. I showed 15.Bg5 because I love tactics and I couldn't resist showing it but even stronger is move 15.Qg4!! I know it looks like black gets somthing with 15.e5 creating a discovered attck on the queen but then 16.Qg7! attacking the rook on h8 and the pawn on e5. No response is good enough and white gets a clear advantage. If you want better detail contact me and I will show you several lines or look at the lines yourself. Move 27.Kh2! looks good. Rxe1 also wins but Kh2 is very tricky. I did check with a engine to see what is better. The comp liked Rxe1 but showed that Kh2 wins just the same.(Rxe1 IS BETTER but Kh2 wins in style Cool ) I would play Rxe1 as well but come on. Humanity begs for Kh2. I have decided that I will try to say what everyone has to improve when I look at their game put here. Here is what you have to improve:

1.Your tactics look good but they could be sharper

2.From reading your annotions and looking at the game I recamend learning how to use pieces. What I mean is that you played well but is you had played with a little more piece harmony you could put 100 rating points on. As it is I am surprised that you ado not have 1700 to low 1800 USCF rating.

If you want contact me and I can post blogs on some stunning games played by the polgars. I have the book by lazlo polgar that has over 5,000 puzzles. I believe that if I send you a message each day (hopefully) with a puzzle from a section in this book your piece play will improve. When I get a title (notice I said when) i will coach for pay but for now I will just help people for free :)

Once again Thanks for the support! Tell me if the analysis was helpfull please. I would love to know!

Have a great day everyone!
