Accuracy alone doesn't tell you much. It's easier to get very high accuracy against weaker players because the stronger player will find it easier to find best moves. I'd guess chess.com look for better indications of cheating, like lots of engine best moves being played almost instantly.
Game with 96.7% accuracy at 1142 rating.

same, I just got a 96.7 accuracy game as well. I'm scared my opponent is going to report me for cheating although I'm not, I didnt even have a great move either

You should throw some bad moves in there every once in a while, you're too good for your rating, you should lose more or you'll be banned.

Who's to good for there rating, me or the original commentor?
Don't listen to him.

I also had a 98% accuracy, only once. But after that, my accuracy only stand in 70%-90%. Don't know why

My 7 year old has had 100% when playing the Fried Liver attack, the Traxler counter-attack or even sometimes when an opponent blunders badly and resigns. The shorter the game the more likely it is to get a great rating. The above mentioned Fried liver and Traxler, it is easy to get perfect if the opponent has never played against them before and chooses the completely wrong move. There are moves that lead to forced mate early in those attacks. That is where the perfect rating is easy to achieve. You just need to remember the line.
Also if your opponent plays badly then it is easier for you to find the best moves, and he may resign really quickly thus leading to a high or perfect rating.
If you played a perfect game for 65 moves(And probably only a Grandmaster would last that long against you in that situation) that would probably make you a suspect.
Otherwise just be happy that you played well.

why not

Cheating might mean high accuracy, but high accuracy does NOT mean cheating.
There are lots of reasons why a person might play a high accuracy game, or even a whole string of them. Among the usual reasons for high accuracy are: short games, book moves, playing a line you understand well, endgames where one move is just about as good as any of the alternatives...
Would I post something like this if I was a cheater?
Hi all,
this is the first time that I am writing in this forum. Lately, I have read a lot about people being banned due to cheating. I researched to find out that when you do cheat you get a really high accuracy rating due to it matching the engines. I just had a game with 96.7 percent accuracy that was pretty straightforward in my opinion, the moves were easy to find, and surprisingly I made no mistakes at all, not even an inaccuracy. I am now scared that chess.com will think I am cheating for some reason and ban me even though I am not. Is this how it works? I have still not fully understood the banning process, but I really do not want to get banned for a game that I played really well. My usual rating is between 75 and 85... which is what gets me worried. Am I worrying too much? And if I were to get banned because chess.com thinks I am cheating, how will I get my account back? I have worked really hard to increase my rating in the past few months...
PS: sorry for the venting
