Um...something strange just happened. I can't view the game at all! All it shows is a graphic place-holder.

I took it down and put it back up, but I can't fix it.  I didn't know if it looked like that to everyone.  I don't know what to do.

Edit your post, delete the placeholder and recreate the game using the game editor maybe?

Nice attacking game Jake! A la Thal...

Could be wrong, but what about 12. Qxf7+ Kh8 13. Qh5+ Kg8 14. Qh7+ Kf8 15. Qh8+ Ng8 16. Nh7+ Ke7 15. Qxg7# ?  I'm not sure, but I think you should still mate after 16. ... Kf7 with 17. Ng4+ Kf8 18. Qh5, threatening both Qf7# and Nh7# depending on the defense.

[Edit] 19. Nh6 might hold on, though the attack should still be strong even if you don't have an immediate mate.

The attack started with 9.Bxh7+ seems very good. But you made a critical error that should have allowed black back in the game (with a better position):

16.Bxf6 is wrong.

Should be 16.Qxg7, and the piece drops back under favorable (and totally winning) circumstances.

simply 19...Kc7 (immediately, instead of ...Nxd4) would have made it a piece vs. three pawns... interesting. But white is nowhere near a win. not even with the advantage probably.

Actually there are many mistakes after that I believe, and after 22...Nxe5, black seems just winning to me. but then 23...Kb8? first step in wrong direction. Kb6 is fine and looks much better. None of the problems in the other line...

But black is still doing well after that error...Just not winning.

24.Qd4? should have lost to 24...Nc6 followed (After queen retreats) by Rg7 (revealing an attack on the knight), and black goes on the offensive with an extra piece. won game for black.

After that Nxf3 mistake by black, white has a very easy position to play

25...Rg7 misses the temporary problem with the black king. After that move, it's over. White's advantage becomes decisive.

Nice game.
