A new video is up! It can be found on the Videos page of chesspathways.com

Here is some constructive criticism.

I went to https://chesspathways.com/videos/

You need to stop telling people about basics of chess. We already know them.

Put up a video about King's Indian or all the various Benoni's. That might attract our attention.

Posting intros and fast chess games are not interesting, productive, nor do people learn anything.  I don't know why you have done it this way.

Please consider showing us some ways you got to an NM title without making patzer videos.

Thanks for the feedback! After realizing that the vast majority of our members (1,000+ now!) are already proficient chess players, I stopped putting in as much work in the "getting started" video series. Instead I've dedicated the most time to producing game analysis videos for our members (usually rated in the 1000-1900ish range) and creating blog posts with more advanced content.

I'd like to make more advanced content in the future as well - thanks for the advice!

A new Analysis video is posted! It's Game Analysis 15 on Chesspathways.com

Very exciting game to analyze - a lot to unpack about Stonewall middlegame strategy, defending rook endgames, and how to handle a draw offer in time trouble!

I really love what ur doin and I looked at ur website a few weeks ago and think it's top notch. It looks like it'd really help players that r serious about improving... if they'd only just stop playing so much fuggin (didn't cuss) speed chess and study. If I still studied chess I'd contact u but alas.... other things to do. And heck, some of these posts have got to be tough to deal with but hey, that's chess.com for ya!

Cool job ur doin. Good luck.

Thanks! You can still sign up, we have contests too happy.png. Feel free to let any chess friends you have know about ChessPathways - thanks for your support!

Reminder that there's currently 15+ game analysis videos available for free on chesspathways.com!

Good idea and initiative, BlakeyBChess. I'll be following your analysis videos. If you are good at it, it can be very instructive to many of us. It's a different approach from the other famous streamers who play games online and explain their thought process as they do. (They are quite good, your approach is different.) I'll be following this endeavor with interest.

ChessPathways is certainly a strong positive influence in my meager chess development these past two post-launch months.

Yes, circus, great idea!

Thank you kindly, BlakeyBChess. What a helpful resource to share.

Feel free to post any games you would like me to analyze here

This is a VERY generous offer! Sorry for asking a silly question, but after 200+ posts I’m wondering whether this is still a valid offer or you’re flooded and have put it to a halt happy.png

I’ve just finished a game where I took a lot of notes (first time I did this!)and I’m pretty curious about having my mind path analyzed. Please let me know if you’re still available and I will translate it and send it to you. Thanks! Davide.

Thanks! I'm glad you're liking the ChessPathways content!  If I may ask, what do you feel distinguishes me from the other game analysis video makers out there? I'm curious to know what makes me stand out!

This was a tough game I recently had. I would love an analysis from anyone.

Wow! I’m ordering three copies of that book, so I can get to the GM in no time!

I think 35....Ke7 just wins. This lets u go 36....b6 which should resolve everything. 'Cuz the black king wants to invade thru d6-c5 & the white king is stuck holding back the g4 pawn (ur super-prized possession).  U have this wonderful resource in g3 which won't ever hurt u AND win u tempos as u infiltrate to c5...black king's key square.

Let's see what the NM OP comes up w/....shall we ?
