I think you would have won even without going up a piece. You played patiently and had a real nice structure on your pieces, where as white has all his pieces clustered in a corner queenside. It doesn't look good for white no matter what. He seemed to play without concentration, while you continued to play sound and precise chess. The better player won.

Well-- thanks for the kind words and your anaylsis. Hopefully ill hit 1700 one day and become an A rated player.  Because of this game i finally hit 1057 USCF and got $50! for best U1200! =) im stoked gonnna start reading more books and play more games.  Thanks!

hahahaha i was black. i havent played a tournament after this i think he was getting tired because it was the 6th match and he wasnt having a good day i think. and i had  tuna sandwich before the game WOOOO
