OK-the red notation is sort of "woulda, shoulda, coulda" scenario.
If you choose to follow the line of thinking by choosing the move that the computer suggested when it sees a blunder (by pressing the button with the suggested move on it), then you can see how the game might have progressed. Sometimes the computer throws in longer possibilities and sometimes it projects shorter ones. It depends on the situation.
You can then click the bigger button that says (I believe) Main Line to go back to the actual board set-up.

i submitted a game for analysis and i got a summary of screwed up moves i made. blunders, errors, etc... i also got strings of algebraic notation, some red some in bold black type. how am i supposed to use this? is there an explaination onsite somewhere? thanks in advance to the chess.com member(s) who can enlighten me,...ppeets
