If none of opponent's pieces can move, then the game results in a draw by stalemate.

octahedron1198

The opponent has zero legal moves but is not in check, resulting in a draw.

Well that sucks, So I put my opponent in a place that he can't play so that's a drawl. Sorry to me that's a win!

Better to learn the rules. Burying your head in sand and claiming that you "won" isn't helping anyone.

Bonus tip: learn what "draw" means and what "drawl" means.

You could have checkmated your opponent a few moves earlier by taking their rook with your queen instead of with your bishop. Since you didn't do that, your opponent saw a chance at tricking you into a stalemate trap and you fell for it. Why should you be rewarded with a win when your opponent outsmarted you at the last second?
If you had not captured your opponent's last pawn, you still could have easily won - advance your king to h4 (to avoid potential checks from a promoted queen), then advance your pawn to h6, then checkmate with your queen on g7. Just ignore that pawn; it doesn't have time to become a queen and cause trouble.

weeeeeell, a gaaaaame caaaahn't be a draaaawwwwll beeeecuhze a draaawhl is a waaay of tahlking.

But if you're talking about a draw, not a drawlthat was stalemate- when an opponent has no legal moves, but they're not in check.

In that case, feel free to open your own server and play the game according to your rules.

Damn y'all are harsh, Thanks for the bashing! I was just asking a simple question and some of the responders are being very rude. Just asking a question, nothing more.

None of the answers were rude when you asked the question. After that, you stated "Sorry to me that's a win!" (which is ridiculous), and even then you got only one response that wasn't polite.
