see the little chess board on the tool bar in the "Post your reply" box, click on it.
how to annotate games

ok I see that, and it works ok, but seems a little slow.
What I want after a game is finished, is to get the pgn in notepad form, so I can paste it straight in, at present I download the pgn, then open it with notepad, copy the text, then paste. It most be able to be done quicker?

don't really need to put it on the notepad, just right click on the pgn , copy it and then right click in the box where you want to put the pgn and paste it.

where to right click? I can copy the moves from the window box by highlighting them? but how can I right click on the pgn? its a downloaded link?

are you talking about from your game ? and do you have a winboard like 'crafty' is free to download from the Resource here.

I am talking about, just doing it straight from @ chess.com, after a game has finished, the quickest way of annotating, and getting the game onto this forum. Would be nice if there was an option straight after the game has finished to analyse, and annotate, then to post here on this forum. All seems a little too long at present (well at least the way I am doing it)
- Download the file
- open in notepad
- copy the pgn
- click on the little chess board here
- paste the file in
- then edit game, with comments
- paste back in again, when finished

what you got there sound about right, I don't think there is a quicker way( except with a winboard,'crafty')

well I do have chessbase, might be easier just to go into chessbase, do the analysis and annotations, save and then come back here. Would be nice to have a this feature here, at 'a' click

Thanks guys, I like this site most now, and I know on other sites, it is quite easy to do, something for the admins maybe. Is their a suggestion forum?

yes see here

how to get there: see top of page , "jump to forum" drop down and scroll down will see "site feedback and suggestions"
Hi guys, no doubt this has been asked before, and indeed I apologize in advance. My question is how can I annotate and analyse my games here at chess.com? I mean without downloading the pgn file first?
I see some nice illustrations here, and wonder how it is done
