How to kill the trapped Queen

Sort:
manavendra

I know a bad opening... I thought of doing something new and ended up in this position. How can I capture the queen to get revenge for my rook. How to avoid such openings traps in future. Any suggestions.

RetiFan

There is no way to get revenge at that position. If these type of traps often occur in your games, I suggest you don't play your "f" pawn.

WHY?

Because f pawn blocks the h5-e8 diagonal which is the baseline of such traps. For example let's try this without moving our f pawn:

THIS GAME IS STILL CURRENT.

Honestly, how dumb do you have to be to post an extract from an ongoing game with enough information to identify it?

Stupid, clumsy cheat.

Yeah.

In case you didn't know, this is here : http://www.chess.com/forum/view/game-analysis/read-this-before-you-post

You know, the thing that asks you be read before posting ? Read paragraph 5.

I don't think there is a way to trap the queen. White seems to have a couple of options and black is too late to answer them. At best he can make equal trades.

Uh-oh, it seems I'm a bit late here. This is what you get when you leave the reply window open and don't realise that time has passed. >_>

@Griever3261: lol, this way you turn his bad question into a good answer for his opponent. I like that solution.

May I suggest 10. Qg7 instead of 10. Bd3? :-)

@LongIslandMark: just click on the name of the player and go to the tab Games. There will you get a list of games in progress and old games. You will not see this game directly, you will have to click on 'show more'. Then will you see the game with this opponent and can you view the situation at hand.

http://www.chess.com/echess/game?id=65399712 is the game

RetiFan

Honestly, I didn't think the game could still be CURRENT since there was too much info given.

10.Qg7 was sounder if 10...Ng6 11.Bd3 or simply 11.Qh6

ShyamGopal

Is this guy stupid to post his game and ask for help?

Some of us might have used our engines and what would have happened if we found a resource for him?

damavand1

Hi all dear friends Game is still in progress.'s Not just expose you to play.
You are sure to play an amateur.'ve Done wrong movement

Third, you should move your mistakes g6   King would shake

I'm sorry that you're unduly maligned.

I am intrigued by some people's comment that what I posted is cheating. And i don't give a s**t as to what others think. I really I had to resort to cheating than there are a million other resources like chess engines, other chess websites, etc. There are people here who play just to kill their time and give no respect to anyone playing serious chess. I guess its time to move to other sites like chesstempo where such useless wicked things dont go on...

@ShyamGopal atleast i have courage to ask for help through clean means. I ran through your profile and saw you playing against a politically divided team of your own nation. Tells pretty much about you Tamils.

@manavendra You knew you should've done your move yourself and not have sought help in any way. You did just the opposite and what did you expect from us, to give you a reward or something for your actions?? Do you think you are the only smartass in Chess.com so you should get help whereas your opponent tries to play by himself?? It is best to shut up and resign after a very bad move, and not just in chess if you know what I mean.

manavendra

Every miserable chess fool here who has nothing at all of which he can be proud, adopts as a last resource pride in the nature of the OP and accusing him to be a cheat/stupid.

The funniest part is such fools are ready and happy to defend all its faults and follies tooth and nail, thus reimbursing themself for their own inferiority.

I have already corrected the mistake by nuking your entire country. Go to hell.

I feel you are out of line making such statments I personally find it abusive.

Ah, I see this now. One question though. Is this sounder simply because white avoids exchanging a bishop for a pawn, or is white generally better off to keep the queens on the board?
