how to replay a game against bot from a mid-game etc position?

Is there a way to do that without having to go to the board editor and set the board up from scratch? I know I can replay against the computer if the game did not end in a checkmate. But there are often positions I’ve been in the game that I would like to play out against bot differently than I played against the player. but I don’t know how to set up the board like that in a practical or efficient manner? Thanks right now I do the silly method of taking a picture of the position with my I- phone and going to the board editor and starting from scratch. There’s got to be a better way.
