There's a useful trick to know here. Instead od 10... a6, Nxe5 wins a pawn because 11. Nxe5 is answered by 11...Bb5 and 11.Bxd7 is answered by 11...Nxd7.
Interesting Three Queen Ending

1st question: in response to 3. e5, c5 is the theoretically correct reply for black.
2nd question: it was okay to swap, the point is to proceed with Greatrolls's move.
3rd question: 12... h6 was not a good move because it does not stop white's idea on the b1-h7 diagonal. The best move is 12... Rc8, taking the half-open file and targeting the backward pawn at c3. Here is a sample continuation that Fritz 8 gives: 12... Rc8 13. Bb2(overprotecting in preparation of the coming move) Na5 14. Nd2(white needs to trade off knights on c4 or else black will have a positional bind on the queenside) 0-0 15. 0-0 Nc4 16. Nxc4 Rxc4 and it's anyone's game, but the rook on c4 is excellently placed and white will not be able to attack the kingside with any real ease. I hope that helped
Hey this is a game i recently played. I think I played as well as I can so I'm looking for more experienced players to point out the areas I could have improved (probably quite a few), because I don't have the knowledge to see them.
There were some unique positions during the game that may have had some interesting tactical posibilites that i missed. let me know if you see any combo's.
always appreciate the help, i'm trying to get better.
thanks,
