Is It even possible to beat the Expert computer?

Its a retorical questions but i mean seriously The computers hard this game took about 1 and a half and I had to end it because I ran out of time during lunch. I still cant see a good ending for me.

nice! and good luck next time.
I play agaisnt the computer on hard every day but i like to try expert because its harder but i never win I only get draws or lose.

well, you fared better than me if I played impossible.
With the computer I think its all about getting a good defense and then attacking.

Its like the computer on expert is a wall you cant get past. You can climb but the wall is slippery, you cant dig because its on stone, and you cant go around it because its a long wall. its an impossible obstacle never to be fortaken.
vanessa you are way stronger then me and you know much more then me but what were you doing, what was your strategy in the game???

At first i was trying to develope my pieces but castle on the kings side but then things got out of hand because he put a lot of pressure on my with his bishop and then when i took he had his other bishop and queen on center and it was putting a lot of pressure on me so i tried to fork him with my knight but he countered and from there i was just trying to put pressure off of me and on to him.

Basically in the end it was kind of like either he moves his king towards the center and he would lose the queen of i dont move my rook to check him and i lose the attack and he would win. Thats why i say he really had me and I was trying so hard to get him to make a mistake but to get a computer to make a mistake is impossible.

move 46....maybe Qd2+...if this does not work, then shout: Oh look behind you! and just when the computer turns around, you unplug it!

Check out chess.com's recent post that may answer your question. I found this post very interesting. You might too :)

ya seems like the only way to win.

Although they make great training machines, computers remain irrelevant in the sense that chess is only meaningful to humans.
