is mate possible here.

attacking the bishop by the rook (Rxb3) then try to attack the Rook which the bishop was defending it by ur queen then try to take his another Rook by ur queen again ,don't castle right now only after these moves ( that's in my opinion )
I would have done Re2+, followed by Ng2+, forking the king and queen
oh yeah, that works, but i lose a rook and a knight no?

he doese Qf2 witch will prevent checkmate
Am I missing something? In the original game there is a rook on b2.

there is yeah

nope i think RxPb2 is the best thing to advance from that position! It opens up the king more than anything else i can see! And you are under no threat of attack so your king is safe in the centre

...waht? There is no pawn on b2.
EDIT: Ignore me, I'm an idiot; I just realized you meant move 22.
main question is whats my best move when i play:
22 ... Rxb2 - which i played as couldn't see any obvious mate i could force, and leaving a possible fork with my knight on the next move.
also at the end my opp resigned, is this a bit premature?
27 Kg1
then how does black play, castle to protect my king at the back, or Qg3.
this is my first post, so please be gentle
