My First Experience Against a 2100

At the Minnesota Renaissance Festival today, I got the opportunity to play two players of 2100-strength. They ran a booth with eleven boards and would play anyone who wanted to(and had 5 USD). I played four times(two against each), and expectedly lost all of them. I will only show the last game since it's one I remember quite well, and best demonstrates the importance of looking at all the opponent's responses to one's idea.

Despite getting soundly routed in every single game, it turned out to be a great learning experience. Due to the fact that my games were the ones on which the 2100's concentrated most, I presume that I had given them a challenge and if so, it is a great honor to have done so against two players of caliber relatively few players attain. Thoughts on this game?

You play a good game, no wonder they gave you so much of their time. No shame in losing a game like that, keep playing and maybe one day you'll be the chess freak in the booth!
