A Little Introduction:

Good Day everyone. i'm new to chess and i wanted to improve my game, so i decided to post my In-Game thoughts so everyone (hopefully) could help me or also share their insights on how i play. I chose to play in a more slow game so i could think more mainly beacause i suck in fast time control.haha

I hope i could learn something from you, and hopefully you could learn from me also.

NOOB CHESS #1: Don't Underestimate Your Opponents:

This is my first completed game in Online Chess so priimarily, im not rated yet. My opponent i think is in 14++ rate already. I think my opponent understimated me and throw some cheap opening lines that cost him the game.

Yah. this game is not that that interesting or great, but it give us some viable lesson:

  • The Queen can be harass/gain time with when develop too early.
  • He planned some cheap attacks that cost his development.
  • Center Control.
  • And of course, DON'T Underestimate your Opponent dont base your move according too rating , Number is deceiving.

yes, since IQ is the ability to not only think, but evaluate and differentiate between good and bad moves within seconds rather than minutes or even more laugable days. Thus, blitz is the true indicator of a person's ability to make such decisions within minutes. It is quite analogous to computer's ram which speeds up the process of . Thus, to recapitualte bltiz players usually have hihgher IQs than their much slower correspondent chess counterparts. This is actually scientifically proven.

ah. can you send me the link/reference of this actual study brah?

In my opinion long game chess is the "Real Chess" and to become a good blitz player you must be able to know the basic concepts first like the center, development, basic mating patterns, elementary openings/endings., imbalances etc. A beginner like me i think could appreciate these when i play long games. I envy you actually and i wish could play blitz like you :)

Im not being pretenious, im just enjoying chess and sharing my in game thoughts applying some things that i read.
