One Game
I actually like your 8.d5 response to 7...Be6. The fact that you're not immediately winning doesn't mean it's not a mistake. Just have realistic expectations:)
Your position seems to stay REALLY good for quite a few moves.
For example, after 12...Ne5 13.Bh6 is interesting: 13...Rf6 14.Nxe5 dxe5 15.Qc2 and black seems to be on the verge of losing here. Black's kingside will disintegrate without the bishop there to protect it (and that bishop will be lost anyway after Nd2 (Rxa1 whenever is needed, if needed...)
So white would just be winning positionally AND materially if black defends onrmally (...Rf6). Hard for black.
Come to think of it, even what you play keeps a winning advantage. Just don't let him get a piece back with e4. 14.Bh6 followed by Qc2 (if his rook moves) and you're still just winning I believe.
I REALLY don't understand why black didn't play 15...Qxd3.
15...exd3 gives you back your good position. There's such a huge difference between the two.
Your 17.Nc4 is understandalbe, the trouble is, by this point, your advantage relies on your better activity and black's king position. You know longer have material superiority. So you must find a way to play as energetically as possible, and letting black wedge his queen on d5 tends to block the attack.
so, don't give him time:
17.Bh6 Re8 (Rf6 is senseless now that the e6 pawn is already defended by the rook) 18.Bf4 and black's rook has been placed on a square which is worse for black either for activity or for defense, and, what's more, Bf4 ties the queen down to the c7 pawn. make it hard for black to move as you make your pieces more active and his less.
If he tries 18...c5 to free the queen for other duties, NOW 19.Nc4 makes perfect sense. not only brings that piece into the game, but also blocking the c pawn for now, preventing it from supporting the d3 pawn, and still preventing 19...Qd5 because of 20.Nb6:)
Of course after 17...Qd5 you just panicked. Black is back into the game, but hardly winning...don't give him a piece! the game would still be balanced after just moving the knight back (18.Nb2) Even if the a2 pawn drops, MUCH better than losing a knight. Also, white can still hold the position after that.
(18.Nb2 Qxa2 19.Bd5 and white has dangerous play on the kingside. Still a complicated position.

Heh that would be a first... Someone showing off a game he lost:)
he obviously would like opinions and analysis of it (and if he doesn't, he's going to get them anyway for posting here...)

Thanks for the analysis. I'll make sure to read it and let you know what I think. I really do appreciate it.
For starters, you think my 8. d5!? was pretty good huh? I'll have to study that. I guess its little things like this that makes or breaks your performance rating. I played it pretty impulsively, mainly because I saw an easy fork, and also because on easy mode, the computer often makes this error when playing the KID.

LOL. If I wanted to show-off, I'd post some of my wins against the computer. I actually have a pretty good win percentage, but I blow some games like this where I feel like I should have won/drawn.
The computer sure does play a little bit better on Hard than on Easy. It really botches the KID on Easy, but it played it pretty well on Hard.
