Actually, I think Black can win! Black can hold the pawns, pick off the White king rook pawn with his king after winning the other pawns, hold his own pawn, and the Black pawn is the right color for queening (same color as bishop). White was lucky. Black plays ...Be4 or ...Bf3 and should win. I had an ending like this in 1969 at the American Open in Santa Monica, but wrong colored bishop, so drew. This bishop that protects the queening square (h1) wins in this case.
What do you think of this match? The opponent got disconnected i guess and i wanted to know if the end was a draw or i could win the game. It looks to me it was a draw if the opponent would not make mistakes. It was much better rated then me (1296 vs 1500)
