Yeah, this is a very nice idea. Maybe criteria should also include something like setting a trap in a losing position. Maybe you could make a suggestion, there is an option to do so on the help tab.
Potential "Interesting move" move category.

Good idea!

Welp the queen sac shouldn't have been called brilliant here. The best move (mate in 2) was to take the rook with queen.

it looks like the interesting move is a blunder. what about just a ! or ?

Computers have got no clue what "interresting" means. Coders will probably eventually manage to implement the thing anyway, but we'll get even more weird "interresting" moves than we've got weird "brilliant" moves (brilliant being an other concept the computers can't understand at all, since it implies a perception of beauty/aesthetic which it does not have).

I just saw it in the settings 😅
How do I enable this in Chess.com?
SHIFT + D

the ! and ? symbols are already occupied, so using them would just be inefficient. the logic for these is that in '?!', the ? means a mistake but we put a ! in front of it to classify that this is a bad move, but not as bad as a mistake '?'. same logic with '!?', '!' means it's a great move but the '?' in front of it means that it is a good move but not as good as a great move.

Does anyone else feel there should there be an "!?"(Interesting) move category, just below best, for brilliant moves when they are not the best moves at the time, but close to it? Look at this example, roughly taken from one of my games.
could have prolonged the game by blocking my queen with their queen. The best move, though, was to attack the queen with the rook by moving it two squares upwards. What I feel should qualify for that is a move that is a) a sacrifice that repays itself in 2+ turns, is b) not the best move, but would qualify as an excellent move without a brilliant evaluation, and c) you are not in a bad position after the move, a) and c) are brilliant parameters, while b) would separate it from the more brilliant moves.
The reason I posted this is that I believe in improving chess.com and I want to improve it for myself and others. I would really like it if chess.com programmers found this, because I think that this would improve chess.com!
