Sacrifice for a checkmate

Lemme know what you think. I got lost a bit with my game plan, but this worked out fine as I hung out a rook sacrifice as bait for this checkmate move that I had thought of a few moves in advance. Thoughts?

Maybe your opponent should have resigned. Oh, wait. You probably would have yelled at him, posted the game, and called him "yellow". Remember...

Right, that's gonna happen.....

But I always resign in a lost position. Now, when you say a glass of wine and aphrodisiacs, you really mean 2 quarts of wine and a bottle of sleeping pills, sure.
